2005 International CES：
HD DVDの先制パンチ〜各映画スタジオの発売予定タイトルを公開 (1/3)

センセーショナルな言い方をすれば、HD DVDを支持するワーナー（Warner Bros. Studios）が、BD陣営に先制パンチを見舞ったといったところか。HD DVDプロモーショングループは、CESの発表会でHD DVD向けに発売するコンテンツのリストを公開した。

　ややセンセーショナルな言い方をすれば、HD DVDを支持するワーナー（Warner Bros. Studios）が、自社と対立するBD陣営に、一発先制パンチを見舞ったといったところか。HD DVDプロモーショングループは、「2005 International CES」で、HD DVD向けに発売するコンテンツのリストを公開した上で、各映画スタジオのトップが口々にHD DVDの素晴らしさ、HD映像コンテンツ事業の素晴らしさをアピールした。

　以下に発売予定全タイトルを記したが、中でも系列のニューラインシネマ（New Line Cinema）やHBO（人気ドラマ専門チャンネル）のコンテンツも含め、53タイトルを公表したタイムワーナー（Time Warner）グループの力の入れ方が目立つ。ユニバーサル（Universal Studios Home Entertainment）、パラマウント（Paramount Home Entertainment）ともに、今後さらに発売タイトルは増えると話しているが、数については確約していない。力強い言葉が続いたHD DVDプロモーショングループの発表だが、さてどこまでが年内に用意されるだろうか？
